Welcome to Wild Cat Ranch (WCR). We operate an all volunteer no-kill rescue and lifetime refuge for feral and homeless cats. A feral cat is a free-roaming cat that lives outside, claimed by no one, and is not well-socialized to humans. This excess population is abandoned and uncared for. They are forgotten, neglected, and unwanted

The answer to this problem is to spay and neuter these cats, and not to take  them to the humane society. Sadly, more than 70% of the cats who enter our Nation’s animal shelters never make it out, they are euthanized because there are just too many. That number jumps to 100% for feral cats because they have not been socialized – they are wild and ignored, making their suffering invisible to most.

Our mission is to do what we can to help these cats live and thrive by providing an alternative to euthanasia through a cat sterilization, vaccination and return program known as trap-neuter-return, or TNR. Our managed, long-term care program includes feeding, sheltering, veterinary care, and socialization. Suitable animals are available for adoption. Please see our available cats on Petfinder.  WCR does not accept surrenders.

Adopting, or making a donation can change the lives of these forgotten animals. Thank you for visiting the site. Please spay and nueter your pets.
